WORTH TOWNSHIP

Man trapped under wheels after wreck

A Grove City man was treated for minor injuries at United Community Hospital, Pine Township, after he was trapped under a pickup truck Tuesday on state Route 965 near U.S. Route 62 in Worth Township, just east of Jackson Center, police said.

Robert Alan Lenhart, 43, of 712 Terrace Ave., was speeding east on Route 965 when he lost control of his pickup and it hit several large rocks at a driveway entrance, police said. The pickup went airborne for 35 feet before hitting the ground in a yard and traveling 53 feet before stopping, police said.

Lenhart was thrown from the pickup and became stuck under the rear wheels. He was freed by Jackson Center firefighters, police said.
