Ritter said six fire departments and 40 firefighters responded to the blaze at a vacant garage at 146 Hamburg Road. No firefighters were hurt battling the blaze, Ritter said.

Neighbors spotted the fire and called it in at 12:22 a.m., Ritter said.

Ritter said this morning he did not know who owned the garage. He added that the state fire marshal is investigating.
