Lifelong Learning announces classes
Sharon Lifelong Learning Council has announced its summer enrichment classes.
Classes are free for residents and $10 for non-residents unless noted. Information or registration: (724) 981-6869.
Classes are:
Computer fun -- 10 to 11 a.m. weekdays, Monday through June 28, in the computer lab of Case Avenue Elementary School in Sharon, for first- and second-grade students.
E-Z Snacks! -- 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Monday through June 21, in West Hill Elementary School, for first- through third-grade students.
"Playgroup -- Fun for Families!" -- 10 to 11:30 a.m. June 19 and 26; and July 3, 10 and 17 on Jefferson Avenue Playground in Sharon, for kindergarten through second-graders.
BullyProofing -- 10 a.m. to noon June 21 in Case Avenue Elementary Cafetorium, for kindergarten through second-graders.
African games and names -- 1 to 3 p.m. July 15 through 19 in West Hill Elementary, for third- through fifth-graders.
Soccer fundamentals -- 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. June 24 through 28 in Federal Street Gym, for third- through fifth-graders.
Literacy and Math Fun using "KidPix" -- 11 a.m. to noon Monday through June 28 in Case Avenue Elementary computer lab, for third- and fourth-graders.
Surf the Net Safely! -- Noon to 1 p.m. Monday through June 28 in Case Avenue Elementary computer lab, for third- and fourth-graders.
Competition Math -- 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. July 15 through 19 in the Art Room of Musser Elementary Schools, Sharon, for third- through sixth-graders.
The Drum Speaks -- Noon to 2 p.m. Monday through June 21 in West Hill Elementary gym, for third- through sixth-graders.
"Play and Learn: Outdoor Fun" -- 10 to 11:30 a.m. Mondays, Monday through July 15 on Jefferson Avenue playground.
Soccer Fundamentals -- 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 5 through 8 on Jefferson Avenue Playground, for third- through fifth-graders.
"Artful Recycling!" -- 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monday through June 21, for third- and fourth-graders.
Tie-Dye T-Shirts -- 2:30 to 5 p.m. July 1 through 3 in Federal Street Center, for third- through fifth-graders.
Fun Fridays with Folktales -- 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Fridays, July 5 through Aug. 2, in West Hill Elementary, for third- and fourth-graders.

America is Cooking Light! -- 6 through 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, June 25 through July 2 in Musser Elementary Art Room, for those 14 and older.
How Money Works/Personal Financial Principles -- 6 to 7:30 p.m. June 24 and 26 and July 1 and 2 in Musser Elementary Art Room. Cost is $15 for residents; $20 for non-residents.
"Composting: Building Healthy Soil" -- 6 to 7:30 p.m. June 24 in Musser Elementary Art Room. Cost is $5 for non-residents.
American Sign Language -- 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 19 and 26; and July 3, 17 and 24 in Musser Elementary library. Cost is $25 for Sharon residents; $35 for non-residents.
