Man killed in rollover wreck

A 19-year-old Hermitage man was killed Thursday in a one-car crash in Venango County that left two passengers hospitalized in critical condition, according to the state police in Franklin.

Torrey Keeley, 19, of 2486 Longview Road, died after the car he was driving on U.S. Route 62 crashed at the bottom of Black Hill in French Creek Township near Polk. The car went off the road and hit a telephone pole, then rolled onto its roof at 8:17 a.m. Thursday morning, police said.

Passengers Nicole Zreliak, 19, of Clark, and Bethany Phillips, 24, of Sharpsville, were flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, where they were in critical condition this morning, according to a hospital spokesperson.

The state police are still investigating the cause of the accident. None of the occupants of the car were wearing seatbelts, police said.

The Polk Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
