Brookfield firefighters said Monday they are still investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed an insured mobile home Sunday at 1034 South Park Court and had not determined who owns it or who lived there.

The fire, which was reported at 3:34 p.m., blew out a window at the neighboring Brookfield Acres home of Mary Short, who was taken to St. Joseph Health Center in Warren after complaining of chest pains, firefighters said.
