his wife
A Deer Creek Township man was arrested Wednesday after police said he tried to run down his 49-year-old estranged wife in the parking lot of UPMC Horizon, Greenville.
Greenville-West Salem Township police said Robert Johnston, 47, of 873 Milledgeville Road, tried to run over the woman with his pickup truck at 11:50 a.m. Tuesday in the parking lot. A hospital employee witnessed the incident, police said.
Charges of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment were filed Tuesday against Johnston and he was arrested Wednesday on a warrant, police said.
He was arraigned before District Justice William Fagley. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:45 p.m. Oct. 21.
