Local soldiers still at Fort Dix, N.J.

The 347th Quartermaster Company, based at Pendel-Caminiti Army Reserve Base in Farrell, is still in Fort Dix, N.J., an Army spokesperson said Friday.

The public affairs office of the 99th Region Support Command, based in Coraopolis, Pa., said the soldiers will probably be in Fort Dix for the next few weeks, at least, awaiting orders.

Activated March 7, about 200 soldiers from the 347th joined 1,200 other Army reservists from western Pennsylvania who had been called to active duty.
