Power outage
linked to weather

A power outage shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday in the Shenango Valley was most likely weather-related, said Pennsylvania Power Co. spokesman Randy Coleman.

A band of wind and rain that swept through the area could have knocked tree branches loose, causing the outage, Coleman said.

The number of customers without power, as well as the exact location of the outage, was unknown Tuesday night. A Penn Power crew was en route to the area just before 10 p.m.
