A Sharon man died Monday night in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, from injuries he suffered in an auto accident earlier in the day.

Clifford E. Page, 51, of 184 Dougherty Ave., had been driving on Interstate 79 when his car slid off the road and hit a tree, Mercer County Coroner Brad McGonigle said, adding he believed the accident occurred in Allegheny County.

State police in Butler said Tuesday an accident reconstruction was likely and a report wouldn't be available for a couple of days.
