Easter egg hunts

   » Shenango Valley Jaycees' annual Easter egg hunt is scheduled for noon Saturday at shelter 4 of Buhl Farm park, Hermitage. The hunt is for ages 1 through 10. There will be lots of candy.

   » New Beginnings Christian Church is having an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. April 19 at Stony Point Grange, 69 Kremis Road, Delaware Township (between Fredonia Road and Mercer Road/Route 58).

Admission is free. There will be fun, snacks and prizes.

   » Stoneboro United Methodist Preschool, Stoneboro volunteer Fire Department and Area Businesses are having an Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday at Stoneboro Memorial Park for ages 10 and younger. The event will be held rain or shine.

Prizes include bicycles, stuffed Easter animals, Easter baskets, chocolate bunnies, gift certificates and more.

   » Trinity Living Center's seventh annual Easter egg hunt is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the center, 400 Hillcrest Ave., Grove City. All children ages 1 through 9 are welcome.

The Easter Bunny will also hop on in and have photos taken with the children.

Prizes for each age group, valued at more than $20 each, have been donated by area businesses.

   » Jamestown Fireman's Auxiliary has scheduled an Easter egg hunt for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Jamestown Fire Hall, behind Jamestown High School. Children ages 2 through 10 from the Jamestown School District are welcome. Activities include Easter egg hunt, craft, egg coloring, games and pictures with Mr. and Mrs. Bunny. Kids ages 10 and younger can eat lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Bunny for free; cost for all others is $1.50.

   » New Life Baptist Church, New Wilmington, is having a Community Kids Carnival with an Easter egg hunt, games, musical entertainment and more from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday behind New Wilmington Elementary School.

The event is open to any child in preschool through sixth grade. There will be age-divided hunts that occur simultaneously. Eggs contain candy, gift certificates to local businesses and paper slips to redeem for prizes. The egg hunt will be held rain or shine.
