Philip Garner of Zion's Reformed United Church of Christ, Greenville, will speak during Greenville Kiwanis Club community prayer breakfast at 7:30 a.m. in Hempfield Station One Banquet Center. Reservations are needed by Thursday. Call (724) 588-3938. Melodies of Praise will perform at 11:30 a.m. May 1 in Central Park. There will be a community prayer service at noon in the park, or in Zion's Reformed United Church of Christ, 260 Main St., Greenville, in case of rain. Greenville Kiwanis Club is sponsor. A salad luncheon, hosted by Greenville Area Council of Church Women, is set for 12:30 p.m. in Zion's Reformed United Church of Christ. Major and Mrs. Ted Slye, of Salvation Army Shenango Valley Corps, Sharon, will present a program. There also will be a dance and mime presentation.
