Twenty-three people graduated Friday night from Sharon Regional Health System's School of Nursing. Sarah Mowry, Greenville, earned the Nursing Proficiency Award, which is presented to the student who best exemplifies growth during the 16-month program, a news release said. "Miss Mowry demonstrates characteristics needed to be a competent and caring clinical practitioner," the release said. She graduated from Greenville High School and took her prerequisite courses at Penn State University's Shenango Campus in Sharon. The other graduates were Melissa Bacich, Erin Lee-Campbell, Patricia DeRaps, Bryan Gerbasi, Tiffany Hether and Cory Moore, all Sharon; Shirley White, Crystal Schutz, Megan Nelson, Jarmila Hudspath and Tamra Costar, all Hermitage; Julie DePreta, Chickako Gerasimek and Jackie Osborne, all Sharpsville; Christine Unger, Greenville; Stephanie Smith, Grove City; Jeremy Perrine, Stoneboro; Heather Rice, Brookfield; Kelley Harnett, Burghill; and Shannon Davis, Masury. The ceremony was held at Sharon High School's auditorium. |
