A 6-year-old boy fell from a second-story window Sunday at 109 S. Mercer St., Greenville firefighters said.

The boy had no obvious serious injuries but was taken to UPMC Horizon, Greenville, after complaining of back pain, said firefighters, who were called at 12:09 p.m.

Firefighters said they could not release the boy's name.

The boy was playing and apparently slipped, firefighters said.

Police did not provide a report.
