Paulette Lawler, the Jefferson Township woman injured in a four-car, chain-reaction crash at 6:30 p.m. Monday In Hermitage, has been released from UPMC Horizon, Farrell, a hospital spokeswoman said Wednesday. Ms. Lawler, 59, of 10 Zahniser Road, was westbound on the Shenango Valley Freeway when she failed to stop and rear-ended a car driven by Linda Taylor, 34, of 2861 Mercer-West Middlesex Road, Shenango Township, police said. The impact pushed Ms. Taylor's car into the back of one driven by Patricia A. Carpec, 38, of 524 Ormond Ave., Sharon, which was pushed into the back of a car driven by Sherry Bayuk, 40, of Girard, Ohio, police said. |
