Nancy Depuy, 55, of West Middlesex was all smiles Friday after spending the last two months away from her husband, Sgt. 1st Class Joseph Depuy. Mrs. Depuy, a Hermitage schoolteacher, was joined by her 14-year-old daughter Kayla, and more than 100 other family and friends, who offered a grand welcome home for the 99th Regional Support Command's 347th Quartermaster Company. The company returned Friday evening to Pendel-Caminiti Army Reserve Center in Farrell to a crowd, hooting, cheering and waving American flags. Depuy, one of the first soldiers to arrive, said it felt good to be home. "I'm glad to be back with my family and friends," he said. |
