By Patrecka F. Adams Herald Staff Writer Two-and-a-half months worth of instruction on topics ranging from traffic enforcement to counterfeiting culminated in a Thursday graduation ceremony for 15 students of the Brookfield Citizens Police Academy. Before feasting on finger foods, dinner rolls and cake, the men and women took a final examination to test their accrued knowledge. The class was sponsored by a grant from township trustees and was available to participants free of charge. This class was the second to complete the 10-week program since the first one was held in 2001. |
