A female cocker spaniel that was "severely, severely neglected" is in need of a foster home until the Humane Society of Mercer County can find her a permanent living place. The 10-year-old dog named Cindy was taken from her owner, who couldn't afford to care for her. The dog's hair was matted all over its body, including inside its ears, and she had ticks and infected eyes, said Sandi Drabick, Humane Society executive director. "There's extensive work to be done," she said. |
