get degrees from YSU By Amanda Smith-Teutsch Herald Staff Writer
Mary Wheeler of Brookfield had two special people to watch over in the graduating class of 1,869 at Youngstown State University's commencement Saturday morning. Both Mrs. Wheeler's daughter, Elizabeth, and husband, John, walked across the stage at Beeghly Center on YSU's campus to receive their bachelor's degrees. Ms. Wheeler, a history major who worked in the oral history department on campus, said having her father in the same school has had its advantages. |
