Woman sentenced to prison on federal gun sale charges

A Pulaski woman, one of five people convicted in an illegal gun-selling scheme in New Castle, will serve time in prison, according to U.S. Attorney Mary Beth Buchanan.

U.S. District Judge Gary L. Lancaster sentenced Tammy Clark, 34, of 1439 Coffee Run Road, on Friday to 18 months in prison on her convictions of conspiracy and aiding and abetting false statements in records kept by federally licensed firearms dealers. Ms. Clark, who was convicted in February, was sentenced in federal court in Pittsburgh.

According to the indictment, Ms. Clark worked at Pete's Bait and Sport, 4 Mahoning Avenue, New Castle, along with shop operator Alexander Pagley Jr., 33, of New Castle; his father and Ms. Clark's husband Alexander Pagley Sr., 57, of Pulaski; and Jeffrey Natale, 39, of New Castle.
