A new councilman will join two incumbents on the November ballot for Sharon City Council. Robert Lucas, a retired city firefighter who made an unsuccessful run for mayor in 2001, won his bid to become a councilman. "I'm looking forward to working with council and the mayor (David O. Ryan). Maybe I can become the bridge to move the city forward," said Lucas, 52, of 1124 Hall Ave. The election, which was decided in Tuesday's primary, also put incumbents Lou Rotunno, 59, of 383 Case Ave., and Chris Outrakis, 79, 1086 French St. Ext., on top. |
