A Farrell man was sentenced to prison Monday in Pittsburgh federal court for distributing 2.7 grams of cocaine, according to United States Attorney Mary Beth Buchanan. Based on information presented to the court March 13, Colbert Thompson, 29, of 707 Union St. was sentenced to 12 years and seven months in prison by District Judge Sean J. McLaughlin for violating federal drug laws, the U.S. Attorney's Office said. The imprisonment will be followed by three years of supervised release, the attorney's office said. |
