A Pymatuning Township man was arrested Wednesday after police said he had two teenagers bury the body of a Jefferson, Ohio, woman in an empty field in Ohio. The body of Naomi Lynn Bright, 22, was found Wednesday in a shallow grave in a rural area, said trooper Eric Weller, criminal investigator for state police at Mercer. She may have died from a drug overdose, according to affidavits. Richard Dean Hodge, 44, of 38 W. 10th St., Reynolds Mobile Home Park, was charged with abuse of a corpse and two counts of corrupting minors in connection with the woman's death. Trooper Robert Lagoon, public information officer for the state police, said the investigation into Mrs. Bright's death is ongoing; he would not say if more charges would be filed. |
