Wheatland Tube Co. and striking union workers had contrasting views on Wednesday's meeting between the two sides with a federal mediator.

Bill Kerins, vice president at Wheatland Tube, said there was no movement on either side during the hour-long meeting.

"It was more of an informational meeting rather than a negotiating session,'' Kerins said.
