included in PennDOT plans By Sherris Moreira-Byers Herald Staff Writer While presenting plans for a bridge and road expansion at state Route 208 and Interstate 79 Thursday evening, PennDOT officials also discussed preliminary plans for other road improvements and expansions, as well as during a phone interview Friday morning. One design presented at the meeting was a proposal to relocate the end of Blacktown Road where it "T's" with state Route 208, just before Irishtown Road toward Grove City, said Dean Collins, a PennDOT project manager. The road where the former Steese's Ice Cream business was located is a difficult left-hand turn for people turning onto it coming east on Route 208. |
