A New Castle man, who allegedly assaulted police during a robbery attempt, had his bond reduced and some of the charges against him dropped Friday by District Justice Ruth French, Mercer.

Rashad Fitzpatrick, 20, and four juveniles were arrested May 16 after they tried to steal shoes from a store at Prime Outlets of Grove City, Springfield Township, police said.
