Residents can call Pa. about water concerns

For the next 30 days, Grove City residents can voice their concerns about the borough's drinking water sources by calling the state Department of Environmental Protection.

A meeting held by the DEP yielded no local concerns about potential water contamination, according to department spokeswoman Freda Tarbell.

Wednesday's meeting was part of Pennsylvania's Source Water Assessment and Protection program, also called SWAP. The program assesses all public drinking water sources' susceptibility to pollution.
