Tenth-grader Angel Freeman, 16, is glad she no longer has to breathe in tar fumes and walk through dusty halls.

Nikki Darlington, 14, is really pleased the hallways aren't crowded with piping and construction materials anymore, and she no longer has to take detours to get to class.

Sophomore Lauren Wasson remembers seeing footprints in wood shavings all through the hallway.

"Everything's a lot cleaner now," she said. "I'm proud to go to Sharon. I like it a lot better here."
