to serves as artists' gallery By Sherris Moreira-Byers Herald Staff Writer Finding ways to get back to nature this cold and rainy spring can be a trifle challenging. But this weekend, McKeever Environmental Learning Center will offer an opportunity to get back to nature -- rain or shine. McKeever is holding an indoor nature art show featuring three area artists, music and refreshments that planner hope will draw the public to the 200-acre nature center in Lake Township. "Hopefully they'll see local artists' work and begin to appreciate how each of these artists have captured nature in their work," said McKeever director Fran Bires. "Getting an appreciation is important as well as coming out here. The trails are open, and people can walk one of our nature trails and see our facility." |
