invites people to march along Herald Staff Writer
Wednesday morning was mostly cloudy but when affiliates of ERASE took to the street Monday afternoon in Farrell, the sun was shining. Members of the anti-drug coalition marched from their former location at 901 Fruit Ave. to a new Mercer County Housing Authority site at 211 Federal St., Farrell, inviting the community by passing out fliers along the way. "We're moving, come join us," about 40 members cheered out along Fruit, Idaho and Federal streets. They were accompanied by Southwest Mercer County Regional police cruisers. |
