A friendly, outgoing 14-week-old puppy was found Wednesday locked in a portable toilet at the Greenville's sports complex on East Jamestown Road in West Salem Township. Doug Strahler of Greenville took the dog to the police station Wednesday afternoon where the slightly stinky puppy ran around, wagging his tail, sniffing the chief's shoes and licking fingers. The chief is Doug's father, Tom Strahler. "No one should abuse a puppy like that," the younger Strahler said. The puppy is a black and tan shepherd mix and was wearing a black collar when found. |
