DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. -- A former Sharon man was killed in a car-pedestrian accident on Interstate 25 in Douglas County.

According to Rocky Mountain News, James Passell, 61, Castle Rock, Colo., formerly of Sharon, and his wife, Debbie, were standing near their parked vehicle about 6:15 p.m. Monday, when a car driven by an 18-year-old, Brian Murphy, slammed into their 1970 vintage Mercedes after drifting to the right off the southbound lane of the highway.
