Wheatland Tube Co. has reached a four-year early-bird labor agreement with its Chicago Division, Vice President of Operations Bill Kerins announced Thursday. The Chicago Division is represented by Local 73 of the Sheet Metal Workers International. Kerins, who serves as corporate chief negotiator for all divisions of Wheatland Tube's corporate parent John Maneely Co., said the new agreement was reached one month early because of the cooperative spirit of the union. |
