Farrell Recreation Commission is gearing up to install new equipment at the Emerson Avenue Playground.

Equipment for the lower end of the playground arrived Thursday at the municipal building, said commission Chairman Riley Smoot Jr., adding that two 6-foot pipes may be missing from the material.

By next Thursday at the latest, the commission will be ready to get the equipment up, said Recreation Director Anthony Retone. Retone said he would find out about the missing pieces.
