will enter ministry Herald Staff Writer Looking to find out a little something about Bruce Rosa? Well, look no further than the oversized card with the signatures of 600 students on it that was presented to the retiring police chief during a ceremony Friday morning at Sharpsville Elementary School. Or no further than the nearly 150 family, friends and other well-wishers who streamed into the municipal building Friday afternoon in honor of Rosa's retirement. Or no further than the many community leaders who were willing to comment on what Rosa meant to the area. "He's meant a whole lot to the community," said Sharpsville Mayor Ken Robertson. "He spoke on Monday at the Memorial Day ceremony and talked about giving back to the community. And I think that's the way Bruce has lived and worked for 20 years here in this community. Our community is a better place because Bruce served here." |
