Man accused in burglary ring headed to county court

Charges are headed to Mercer County Common Pleas Court against a Sandy Lake Township man who was allegedly involved in a burglary ring that hit businesses in Mercer and Venango counties.

Joshua J. Grove, 30, of 3533-A Sandy Lake-New Lebanon Road, was arrested May 5 by state police, along with Robert M. Williamson, 30, of 3533 Sandy Lake-New Lebanon Road, at Williamson's home on charges of receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Charges against Grove were held to court Wednesday by District Justice Lawrence Silvis. A hearing for Williamson was continued until June 4.
