Ex-school ripped by fire


Gym, stage
gone; business
inside affected

A fire that broke out early Saturday destroyed the gymnasium and stage of the former South Pymatuning Elementary School at 3637 Tamarack Drive, said Fire Chief Nick Kolberich.

"Those two areas are just a total loss," he said.

The building is still owned by Sharpsville Area School District, but is not used for classes.
