Developers of a proposed Wal-Mart Supercenter on North Hermitage Road in Hermitage are trying to overcome wetland issues at the location.

In a status report on the development at the Hermitage Planning Commission Monday morning, Marcia A. Hirschmann, Hermitage's city director of planning and development, told board members the retail development found wetlands at the location.

"It wasn't a large piece but a bunch of little pieces,'' Ms. Hirschmann said of the wetland area.
