to zap the bad guys By Larissa Theodore Herald Staff Writer
Criminals in Mercer County had better watch out or they might get zapped. The Southwest Mercer County Regional police department is training its force to use tasers, which they hope will stop the bad guys in their tracks. Tasers operate like handguns. The Advance Taser M26, which the department plans to use, draws 26 watts and 50,000 volts. The old taser had only 7 watts, said detective Sgt. Douglas Long. |
