Mercer County area residents are on a winning streak.

Recently a Pymatuning Township woman won $1,000 for life in the Pennsylvania Lottery's "Win for Life" game.

Today, 20 employees of General Electric Corp. in Pine Township will be splitting a $100,000 Powerball prize they recently won when they matched five out of five numbers.

The check, less 27 percent withheld for federal taxes, will be presented to the GE group at 1 p.m. at Sam's BiLo Foods, 111 Mill St., Grove City.
