Wheatland council plans to install two alarm systems that would sound off during fires and weather emergencies. Council has already bought one $470 box for weather alerts. The Wheatland Fire Relief Association will buy another $470 box to upgrade its current fire alarm system. Each alarms will have a different tone. The current fire alarm, which is tripped through the county, has to be physically shut off. While the county will continue to trip the alarm for the borough, the alarm will now have automatic shut-off. |
