Central Park concert series set

Greenville Chamber of Commerce's summer season of concerts in Central Park opens tonight with two bands.

Pipe Dreams plays '60s hits at 6:30 p.m., and Church Street Blues plays blues, rock and Christian music at 7:30 p.m.

Also set:

   » Multi-instrumentalist Norm Mossman, 6:30 p.m. June 12.

   » Commodore Perry Jazz Band, 7:30 p.m. June 12.

   » Lost Highway playing country rock and blues, 6:30 p.m. June 19.

   » Rainbow Mountain Boys playing bluegrass, 7:30 p.m. June 19.

   » Bluesman Max Schang, 6:30 p.m. June 26.

   » The House Band, 7:30 p.m. June 26.

   » Pipe Dreams, 6:30 p.m. July 3. Fireworks will be set off following the concert.

   » Rock and blues singer Steve Vuich, 6:30 p.m. July 10.

   » Christian band From the Heart, 7:30 p.m. July 10.

   » Holy Trinity Lutheran Night with hymns, July 17.

   » Christian singers the B-Attitudes, 6:30 p.m. July 24.

   » The Keelings, a Christian group, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. July 31.

Lawn chairs and blankets are suggested.
