A small fire Sunday evening at Ponderosa Steak House in Hermitage sent several customers out the restaurant door without their fill.

Chris Curry of Farrell said he had just sat down to eat with his wife, mother, 3-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter when employees began demanding that customers leave the East State Street restaurant because of a fire.
