A 13-year-old Farrell boy walking home from school rescued an elderly woman last week after she fell, breaking her arm and lying there bleeding.

Geremy Brown, at the time a seventh-grader at Farrell Middle School, was nearing home on Wednesday when he heard a faint cry for help.

"She said, 'Young man, can you please come over and help me,' " Geremy recalled.
