Girl Scouts By Monica Puhak Herald News Intern
Hermitage Cadette Girl Scout Troop 223 recently discovered the importance of teamwork and trust when they visited Linsly Outdoor Center in Georgetown, Pa. Troop leader June Dale said an April trip to the center was worthwhile because the girls learned to cooperate better with one another, which is a major component of being a Girl Scout. The center, in Raccoon Creek State Park, southwest of Aliquippa, offers a variety of programs and activities for groups wishing to build upon their leadership and teamwork goals. |
