The tread from a couple pairs of size 11 boots has allegedly connected a Sandy Lake Township man to at least two victims of a suspected burglary ring that hit businesses in Mercer and Venango counties.

Robert M. Williamson, 30, of 3533 Sandy Lake-New Lebanon Road, was arrested May 5 and charged with multiple counts of burglary, theft, receiving stolen property, criminal trespass and conspiracy to commit burglary. All of his charges were held to court Wednesday by District Justice Lawrence Silvis, Worth Township.
