Greenville council will be calling a special meeting to debate selling the sanitary sewer plant. Greenville Municipal Authority Board sent a request via its council representative, David Henderson, asking council to consider seeking bids for the sale of the borough's sewer system. The municipal authority board is seeking bids for the sale of the town's water plant and system. Two companies, Consumers Pennsylvania Water Co. and Pennsylvania American Water Co., have expressed interest in buying the water works. American expressed interest in buying both the water and sewer systems, authority board Chairman Dick Miller has said. |
