Herald Political Writer Mercer County Commissioners are expected today to approve a real estate tax abatement for new construction and property improvements in Sharpsville's commercial-industrial district. Sharpsville officials, however, aren't exactly thrilled with commissioners' six-year abatement. That's because the borough and Sharpsville Area School District have already approved a 10-year abatement. County officials say the abatement they expect to approve is as good as it gets. |
