Cause unknown of fire at Wengler Ave. duplex

At least 1 tenant had no insurance

Julie McRight received horrible news Friday evening while she was at a graduation party.

Her home was on fire.

The fire began at about 7:35 p.m. The tenants of the duplex, Ms. McRight and Kevin Songer, were not home when the fire started.

Neighbors watched as Sharon firefighters worked to put out the blaze at 166 and 168 Wengler Ave. No one seemed to know where the residents were.
