Going into a restaurant for a quick bite to eat and drink isn't against the law. Leaving a 2-year-old locked in the car while you do that is. And that's why a Mercer-area woman is facing charges of endangering the welfare of a child and leaving an unattended child in a motor vehicle, Sharpsville police said Monday. Jolene Previty, also known as Jolene Humes, 28, of 1899 Mercer-Grove City Road, Findley Township, went into a restaurant on East High Street in Sharpsville on June 4 to grab some food and a drink, police said. |
