Greenville Area School Board Monday signed on with the Midwestern Health Combine, joining more than a dozen other school districts to provide health care for employees.

The district did not previously belong to a consortium or insurance group.

School officials said the switch does nothing to raise the cost of insurance premiums, nor does it change employees' coverage. They will have the same provider, Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
